Library IDEAA Book Club Mission

The IDEAA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Anti-Racism) Book Club is committed to fostering a welcoming space where diverse voices and experiences are explored through books. Engaging with stories and perspectives from various backgrounds offers opportunities for building empathy, learning, and deepening understanding.

Library IDEAA Book Club Vision

By reading works that reflect a broad spectrum of identities, cultures, and lived experiences, we learn and create a more inclusive community that upholds the Victor Valley College values of accessibility, diversity, and collaboration. Our intention is to inspire awareness and reflection and encourage critical thinking and communication. Together we will share, listen, explore assumptions, and encourage a deeper connection to the world around us.
